If you were one of the 56% of workers who started working remotely since COVID, you probably have looked at your work arrangement in a different light. No more commutes, no more unnecessary meetings, work life integration, and the list goes on. The future of work is digital and COVID will go down in history as the greatest force of change in work culture. The shift to remote work changed the physical arrangements of work. As monumental as that was, it did not actual change the work we did.
Something that will change not only how we work, but also what we work on, is working in a DAO. It is a way to own a piece of the work that you produce rather than selling your hours away to a corporation. Best of all, work on what you want & as much or little as you like. The DAO landscape is growing rapidly & it’s pace will only increase. DAOs still have a long way to go before it becomes an obvious choice for people to make a living. We are witnessing a Great Resignation fueled not by pessimism or burnout, but by those eager to find their Ikigai. It will only be a matter of time that people gravitate towards DAOs to own the work they want to do.
